Allan Bowditch
Director and Civil Engineering Consultant
Allan is the founder and director of Bowditch Group and has considerable experience in delivering professional engineering and environmental support services to government clients for large-scale infrastructure projects. Allan has strong communication and presentation skills and a proven record of leading large multi-disciplinary teams.
Allan has over 45 years’ experience as a professional civil engineer, comprising 25 years with Local Government Authorities in the Newcastle and Hunter Valley areas and over 20 years providing professional consultancy services to clients. He has particular experience in providing services in the fields of project development, project management, civil engineering and environmental planning to government and private sector clients. More recently Allan has developed specific skills in the design and delivery of residential acoustic treatments to properties impacted by noise from large infrastructure projects.

Andrew Grainger
Senior Environmental Consultant
Andrew has over 20 years’ experience in state and local government agencies as well as the private sector. Andrew’s experience includes undertaking environmental impact assessments, developing and implementing environmental management systems and onsite construction management of large-scale infrastructure projects. Andrew has extensive experience in the roads and transport industries, and water and wastewater industries.
Andrew’s various roles have including managing and preparing complex environmental assessments for large infrastructure projects, preparing and reviewing construction environmental management documentation in accordance with ISO 14001. Andrew has extensive onsite construction management experience including environmental monitoring and inspections, reporting and compliance management.

Meredith Thomas
Senior Environmental Consultant
Meredith has over 18 years’ experience in the public and private sector, providing environmental planning and assessment, and on-site construction management services. Meredith has extensive experience in the water and wastewater industries, and roads and transport industries.
Her various roles have included preparing environmental impact assessment and construction management documentation, assessing the adequacy of planning approval documentation and providing planning approval advice. Meredith has been involved in the development and implementation of Environmental Management Systems (EMS) to ISO 14001 and has undertaken environmental compliance audits.

Gail Bowditch

Manager
Gail has over 30 years’ experience as an office manager and administrator. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in history, politics and international affairs. Gail has provided administrative services to a broad range of industries and is currently providing business support services to Bowditch Group.
